Below is a tentative schedule of UBC Ballet events for September. Stay tuned for official announcements on our Instagram, and updates on our website.
Interested in trying out our weekly classes? Drop-in to our Beginner, Intermediate, and/or Advanced classes to see which level suits you best! See class dates below.
Please note that classes this week will operate on a modified schedule.
All classes will take place in NEST2301, free of charge. However, classes will be capped at 25 dancers due to the size of the studio.
Beginner: Wednesday, September 23rd, from 8-9 PM
Intermediate: Wednesday, September 23rd, from 7-8 PM
Advanced: Tuesday, September 22nd, from 5-6:30 PM

Opportunities
For those interested in pursuing dance education as a career, we’re excited to share Dance Educator Pathways (DEP)! Allowing dancers to gain teaching knowledge and experience, this is a program offering two training pathways which are as follows:
1. DEP Teacher Training Program: a multi-genre program preparing dancers to teach recreational dance.
2. ISTD (Imperial Ballet) Associate Teacher Training Program: an internationally-recognized classical ballet teaching pathway through the Imperial Society Teachers of Dance (ISTD). Upon completion of this diploma, you can apply to cross-qualify for a RAD Registered Teacher Status.
